ABYSA will host a Recreation Division Soccer Festival for all NCYSA affiliated soccer associations in District 5 (Western NC) at the end of each soccer season.  In the Fall of 08, the event will take place on Saturday, November 8th at the John B. Lewis Soccer Complex and the Buncombe County Sports Park.  NCYSA affiliated teams from all over Western North Carolina are invited to join us for a season-ending fun and friendly celebration of soccer.

In the U8 thru U12 age groups teams play in a “festival” format, meaning each team will play 3 games and each player will receive a medal.  No standings are kept and the focus is on having fun and learning skills.

In the U13/U14 combined age group teams play in a “tournament” format, where each team will play for the District 5 championship.  All players on the winning team will receive a District 5 championship trophy.  Each team will be guaranteed 3 games.
