HFC Boys Tryout series for the upcoming season to truly allow us to deliver a more intensive level of evaluation for players at all levels. By splitting the tryouts between Classic/ECNL, it simply enables us to limit the number of players attending each tryout whilst allowing us the benefit of more eyes on less players per each tryout evening. For the Hendersonville, and Asheville Classic tryouts (U10-U19) we will have open tryouts. These tryouts are for any current HFC Classic player, HFC Academy/Intermediate/Rec player, as well as being open to any boys from other clubs or programs outside of HFC.

Open | Classic Tryout 
The Classic Tryout period will be the first phase of our tryout series and will occur throughout May. Throughout this tryout period, players will be assessed to either be placed within a classic level team (a team competing within NCYSA), or whether they need to be invited to attend the ECNL/ECNL RL tryout at the end of the month. Night one of tryouts will be a night focused within the small sided element of the game; allowing us assess how players compete within tight areas. Following night one, our staff will meet and create teams for night two. Night two will bigger fields and larger game format to see how boys compete in their upcoming  game season format. 

Invite Only | ECNL / ECNL RL Tryout 
The ECNL / ECNL RL Tryout period will be the second phase of our tryout series and will occur throughout. The only players who are to attend this night MUST be invited from our Boys Directors. Format will be similar to the Classic Tryout with night one being focused on tighter spaces, with night two being focused within 11v11 matches.
