2026 - 2027 Academy Placement Evaluations
- HFC Academy 8U-12U Asheville Placement Evaluations take place between May 19th & 28th
- HFC Academy 8U-12U Hendersonville Placement Evaluations take place between May 20th & 27th
- Players MUST register online using their PlayMetrics account to be placed in the HFC Academy Program.
- There is no fee for the 8U-10U Academy Program
- There is a $25 placement evaluation fee for the Academy 11/12U Program.
- When offered a placement in a program, a deposit will be required to “lock in” that placement upon acceptance. Families that wish to accept a position in the program, but cannot make the full deposit, should contact the ABYSA office.
- Payment plans are available.

Asheville - (John B. Lewis Soccer Complex: 493 Azalea Road East, Asheville, NC 28805)
*Asheville evaluations will be at JBL, regardless of what complex players wish to train at for the season (BCSP or JBL)*
May 19th & 21st *Players should attend both evaluation dates*
- 9U Boys & Girls @ 4:45pm - 6pm
- 10U Boys & Girls @ 6:15pm - 7:30pm
May 26th & 28th *Players should attend both evaluation dates*
- 11U & 12U Girls @ 4:45pm - 6pm
- 11U & 12U Boys @ 6:15pm - 7:30pm

2026 - 2027 Season Age Groups
Upcoming Fall 2026 -Spring 2027 Age Group Classification Changes - US Soccer Mandated
Beginning in the Fall 2026 - Spring 2027 season, US Soccer, US Youth Soccer, and North Carolina Youth Soccer have mandated a return to 'School-year' based age groups. Instead of using birth year alone, which is the current method, the standard age groups will return to an August 1st - July 31st birthday cutoff for each age group. The table below shows a breakdown of how the new age groups will be represented in HFC programming:
