Academy camp is recommended for 8U, 9U and 10U Academy players.

Who is eligible for Academy Camp:

• Rising Academy players born in 2016, 2017 and 2018.

HFC offers camps during the summer for rising 8U, 9U & 10U players who will be participating in the HFC Academy Program. This camp is staffed by the HFC Academy Directors and members of the HFC Staff, providing the players with a great opportunity to get acclimated to the demands of the program, learn new skills, and have fun playing soccer.

The basic camp structure each week is for players to do skill training in the mornings, small sided games and scrimmages in the afternoon.  Throughout the week various topics and techniques will be covered, these include juggling, dribbling, passing & possession, shooting & finishing. Players will be trained to refine their game using developmentally appropriate exercises and small sided games.

At the end of each camp day from 2:00-3:30pm players will participate in some lighter activities with it being the hottest time of the day.
