Who We Are:

The Asheville Buncombe Youth Soccer Association (ABYSA) is a 501( c ) 3 not for profit organization providing children and families in Western North Carolina with both recreational and competitive soccer programs. Soccer is America’s most popular participation sport for youth, and is a fun and healthy activity for all kids! Whether you are newcomers to soccer or desire to compete at a higher level, we have the right program for you! If we are not already serving your family, we hope to have the opportunity to do so soon!

The Highland Football Club (HFC) is the Competitive Division within ABYSA. HFC consists of boys and girls teams in the U10 hrough U19 age groups and is the appropriate level for athletic players who desire to train at the highest level with our professional coaching staff.

Our ABYSA Recreation Program is the right program for entry-level players, and for players who are just looking for some fun and exercise in a friendly team atmosphere. This program serves players ages three to eighteen. Our more competitive programs start with the HFC Academy Program. For developmental players older than than the HFC Academy, but not ready for HFC Competitive, ABYSA also offers the HFC Intermediate Program. For the highest level of training and competition, ABYSA offers the HFC Competitive Program for players ages nine to eighteen. ABYSA also offers summer camps for most ages. These camps provide fun and challenging opportunities for all levels of play and are designed to be working-parent friendly.
